Farmaajo trying hard to steal the election in 2022. His supporters are laying the groundwork.

Farmaajo forces in three of regional states (Galmudug, Southwest and Hirshabelle)are now working to steal election to make it harder for other candidates to win — and easier for Farmajo to challenge the results if he. loses. If he’s successful, the chaotic aftermath of the 2022 election will be rehearsal for a second round in 1991 .

“What was really scary about 2022 is how close Somalia will come to a meltdown,” It’s not too early to worry about 2022 election.

The most destabilizing thing is the effort to change tribal chiefs who supposed to select delegates to choose their member of parliament instead now NISA is choosing who’ll be the chief of every tribe.

That’s really dangerous.”And the most important battle over the ground rules for the 2022 presidential election will happen in plain sight with the 2022 elections of MPs.

Once the votes are tallied, it’s up to the Villa Somalia to certify the election result and send it NISA . NISA counts the electoral votes and confirms the result. In most election years, that process is controversial. But when a losing candidate contests the election, it can turn into violent attacks.

Embattled president has already stolen several new MPs in Galmudug, Somaliland and southwest , who are casting themselves as a Farmajo loyalist.

“They are trying to lay the groundwork [for 2022] to make sure Farmaajo returns to villa Somalia.

Some elders and MP candidates said they are afraid when they have been harassed by thugs employed by Villa Somalia to steal elections , intimidate voters and rig the outcome.

If International partners don’t interfere with rigging elections hundreds people will be. killed in political violence leading up to the 2022 elections.
